This MacAfee anti virus came as a card with the installation number on it and justI followed the instructions and it deleted my last year’s version and installed with no problems I don’t like the layout as well as the previous version though as it seems to take you online to check things like your subscription details etc and you have to log in to your account each time there instead of it being in the body of the app but I expect I will get used to it and as it updates it will doubtless add to and change how it looks as it’s a bit less well laid out in swiftly finding its functions than last year’s version was! It was very economically priced though so I am happy to recommend it Do turn off the automatic re-purchase thing though or it might cost a lot more next year! A good product to keep you safe online!

The product is ok once installed. However if you choose an incorrect link to the website you get a very convincing web-site but the helpline ring you and get into your machine and then try to tell you that your system is damaged and they show you evidence of viruses and then offer to repair your machine for a cost. VERY SCARY

I’m very annoyed as I have just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a McAfee technician trying to get the McAfee Full Protection to work….In the end It was suggested I spent a minimum of £149 on a full package. So, the total protection Does NOT work and I don’t know if the call is going to cost me.Very ☹️ unhappy.

This is an absolute nightmare to install and quite frankly I gave up. The initial problem lay in a dormant old McAfee edition which was never used but pre-installed on the computer. This has caused no end of install issues. You cannot install this software unless all previous versions are removed. If you try and install it with an old copy of McAfee on it, it will slow down the computer, cause many many issues and in the end, it will zap the computing power. I installed it on a Windows 7 machine. It has been taken off and I will not try it again. Not Recommended.

The first version of this software would not download with the code provided. This was subsequntly replaced with a version that did work and is now being used. As instructed I returned the original card using the return label provided. However it appears this return item was not received, maybe lost in the system, and I am being asked to pay for it again.

It took me well over a dozen attempts for the activation code to work. Also mcafee demand card details for auto renewal. Have heard mcafee was crap only got it because the new dell I bought already had it loaded as a trial. Will not be buying mcafee again.

I had used McAfee Total Protection prior to buying this from keyforrest. Seems like this one is a different version. The product description didn’t mentioned anything like that. Seems like older version. Not happy with this purchase.

Simple to install and no discernible loss in PC speed. However, if you get the postal version you’ll need to be careful when peeling back the cover strip over the code as I had to read five and a half of the numbers backwards from the inside of the sticker. I’m looking to buy a new laptop, so it’s useful having the 5 device licence

My original McAfee Total protection was up for renewal. I decided to check on keyforrest first and made a huge saving. They do ask for your payment details when registering as it is their policy but you can opt out of renewal on their web site once you are up and running.
