Ho acquistato una User CAL per SQL Server 2019 Standard e la consegna via email è arrivata in tempi rapidi, con il codice e le istruzioni per associare la licenza all’installazione esistente. Ho verificato il tipo di licenza prima dell’acquisto e l’attivazione è stata semplice: la CAL non richiede un’installazione separata, ma va conteggiata correttamente per ogni utente che accede al database da più dispositivi. Il codice era valido e non ho avuto problemi durante i controlli amministrativi, mentre il supporto ha risposto in modo abbastanza chiaro a una domanda sulla differenza tra User CAL e Device CAL. Quattro stelle perché avrei preferito una spiegazione più dettagliata direttamente nella pagina sul corretto dimensionamento delle CAL in ambienti con utenti occasionali, ma nel complesso il servizio è stato affidabile.
