I’ve been using an older version of Photoshop for years so it’s great to have an updated 2021 version as oppose to my older one. I still find the layout very easy, user friendly and absolutely suitable for beginners. Anyone can make their photos look professional with this and with the increasing popularity with sharing images online, there’s more need to make them look decent and impressive!I use this for editing my photos and it has very easy ways to manipulate your pictures and make them exactly what you need them to be, the more you learn how to use it and realise the potential the more you can do and even now i’m learning every day as an amateur user. There’s automatic picture fixes or if you know exactly what you want you can spend more time, editing out things you don’t want to be there, I like making my pictures black and white and then picking out a red dress or red lips to make it Sin City style and so much more, if you can think of it then this will help you to create it and there’s tutorials out there if you need more help.A fantastic program even for beginners, it’s quick and easy to learn the interface and gives fantastic results!

Having used PS Elements 5 for around 10 years or more at a fairly basic level for adjusting exposure errors, etc. when taking photos I decided that as I bought a more advanced camera this year I should upgrade my post processing software too. All the YouTube, phoyi magazines and other photographers always seem to talk about using Photoshop or Lightroom but the idea of a monthly fee for using Photoshop or Lightroom does not appeal to me as I am not a daily user, only occasional or monthly one. So when I saw Elements 21 as a one time purchase I thought that would be a better option as it includes many functions in the full version of Photoshop. It it vastly superior to my version 5 but does have one downside for me – all the functions text characters are a lot smaller meaning that I have problems reading the details on my laptop even with my spectacles. As there is so much more that can be done with this version I have purchased the Photoshop Elements 2020 for Dummies book to help me learn all the newer features. I feel certain that I will be as pleased with this version as I was with the older one.

I did computing at university, so the inner geek in me was delighted to have a chance to play with this. Obviously since university days, that thing called life has got in the way so commitments have made it hard to be able to self teach myself certain software, however lockdown has inspired me to learn Photoshop plus more! I’m briefly familiar with Photoshop, but this was years ago, so having to learn as a new user again.You get two installation discs (1 for Mac, the other for Windows) Installation took around 20/25 mins to load/register onto my Windows 10 laptop and once installation had successfully loaded i was greeted with a main screen that has many functions for photo editing. The userface is very user friendly for anyone who is not so familiar with Photoshop. The main page allows you to search for a specific function, as well as having titled visuals that demonstrates the photo editing task when you hover your mouse over it, which is handy. It will then redirect you to their website for a detailed breakdown of how to edit a certain way.If you are at beginner level, you will definitely need to follow the user guide as the commands for some of the technical effects isn’t quite straight forward, however practice really does make practice. The userguide is extremely informative and easy to follow however it would be good if there was a way to implement the userguide into the software itself as i found myself flicking screens alot which was distracting alone.One of the features i particularly liked was being able to save and correct an old photograph that had stains and scratches on it. There was a tool that healed away the flaws, which once done you would never of been able to tell anything was there to begin with. There are many features that you can do with this software such as photo calendars, make CD/DVD covers and labels, turn photos into a moving GIF, remove an object from an image plus so many more to name. My current task that i aim to self teach and execute is to edit a picture where i have ‘face swapped’ which is proving to be slighlty tricky but following the guides and tutorials online will easily been done.Overal i think this is a fantastic software to edit personal images. It definitely does much more than any of these apps or basic editors on your phone does, where if you are looking for a bit more of a professional touch up or customization you will certainly have fun with this. It is suited for any level, where detailed explanations are given for those not so skilled. If you love photography or editing i would definitely recommend!

As a user of Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop and Lightroom) it’s hard to judge this Photoshop Elements software impartially. Compared to the versatility and feature-rich dashboards of the Adobe suite, this Elements version is pretty basic, and mainly does the essentials.Overall, it does make a picture look nice with various effects, exposure/contrast/shadows adjustments, along with saturation setting. It also comes with some pre-sets that make the process of adjusting pictures hassle free.The software comes with a photo editor and photo organizer. The organizer is particularly useful and handy at keeping galleries tidy and maintaining a workflow.The editor as mentioned above is basic but still excels at the tasks it offers. Of course it supports RAW images from DSLRs or Mirrorless cameras. You can still unlock backgrounds, turn into layers and add layers with adjustments.Is this directed towards photo enthusiasts? No. This is for beginners or people who want a basic photo editing companion for one device without the need to pay a subscription.If you are a photo enthusiast, a photo editor, a previous Photoshop user, or professional photographer then you won’t find the convenient settings and features for doing complex editing.

This is the first version of PS I have owned since version 6 which must be 15 years old by now.I like the new interface, it is a nice light great colour, with well labelled controls. I prefer Before & After Horizontal which shows the after on the right. Finde die Software für den Privatgebrauch zur Bildbearbeitung sehr empfehlenswert – schnelle Assistenten sowie die Möglichkeit, mit dem Expertenmodus in die Tiefe zu gehen.

Easy enough to follow but some illustrations do not match what you get on your screen.Probably because my version of windows is different from the author’s.

Ich bearbeite seit vielen Jahren meine Bilder mit Photoshop Elements. Plötzlich wurde, nach ca. 5 Jahren, mein Programm, ohne Vorwarnung, gesperrt. Ich musste ein neues Programm erwerben. Die Möglichkeiten der Bildgestaltung und Verbesserung der Fotos sind beeindruckend.

I have not used Photoshop in the past as I have been using one of their main competitors for my photo editing needs I had heard a few good things about Photoshop from my friends and it is one of the most common software for photo editing in the market so when the latest version Photoshop Elements 2021 was available, I decided to give it a go.After using it for a few times, I can safely say that it is really much easier for beginners offering most of the key features of Photoshop, on three super useful levels.1. The most important of Elements’ new features, Subject selection uses Adobe Sensei AI to analyse your photo and then automatically select what it perceives as the subjects.2. It has many powerful image-manipulation tools and Strong face- and geo-tagging capabilities.3. It has excellent output options. there is auto-tagging and powerful search options.For advanced users who are moving from a different software, there is helpful guidance to master the advanced techniques.And then there’s this Organizer, an accompanying application to manage your images and create all kinds of (manual or batched) outputsFor a novice, the Quick Fixes are great. If you want to be more precise but still need some help, the Guided approach is truly a boon. And if your familiar with Photoshop (or not) and want to dig in deep, then the Expert Mode will offer you the real Photoshop features and approach. It does all kinds of layers and it can retouch in multiple ways. It can open RAW files and work in high resolution.The only minor issues I felt was that it takes large disk footprint and there is no chromatic aberration correction or lens geometry profiles.Overall, I found it to be a well made software which offers lots of features for any type of user but it is quite heavy on resources.

After compulsory 2021.1 update both my Wacom tablet pens and Xp-Pen cause the program to crash. Sent crash report to Adobe who appear to be aware of problem but still no response. Program unusable. Worked before the update. Anybody else got the same problem? Update. XP-Pen now working after unchecking Windows Ink box. Adobe have been back to me and are working hard on preparing a fix. Now 4 stars.

Die Adobe Photoshop und Premiere Elements Software kam in der dazugehörigen Verpackung geliefert. In dieser befand sich dann auch die Disk mit der ich die Software installieren konnte. Die Disk war nicht zerkratzt und unter Windows 10 ging die Installation sehr einfach.Das Interface ist recht übersichtlich und die Programme lassen sich sehr einfach starten.Mir gefällt Photoshop Elements sehr gut. Es bietet unzähligen Möglichkeiten an Fotobearbeitung. Ich kann relativ einfach den Hintergrund im Bild ändern oder ich kann Texte hinzufügen.Trotz der vielen Funktionen ist die Software ziemlich übersichtlich. Über die einzelnen Reiter kann ich das verschiedene Tool auswählen und einsetzen.Für die Bearbeitung von z.B Urlaubsfotos ist das Programm super. Die normale Version von Photoshop unterscheidet sich aber nochmal recht deutlich von dieser hier.Auch Premiere Elements bietet mir sehr viele Features in punkto Videobearbeitung. Ich kann mehrere Clips einfach zusammenfügen und diese auch noch mit Übergängen verschönern. Die Helligkeit lässt sich ändern und auch das Hinzufügen von Weichzeichnern ist sehr einfach, Diese sind praktisch um z.B. Gesichter zu verdecken.Auch hier kann ich mich sehr gut orientieren. Es gibt nach dem Starten keine tausend Anzeigen mit Funktionen, sondern man startet relativ einfach und fügt dann je nach Wunsch die Effekte ein.Das Exportieren und speichern der bearbeiteten Fotos und Videos geht auch sehr einfach und problemlos.Den Preis finde ich okay.Fazit:Meiner Meinung nach sind beide Programme super zu nutzen. Sie eignen sich aber eher weniger für den Ottonormalverbraucher, da dieser nicht alle dieser Funktionen braucht. Möchte man sich aber mit der Materie beschäftigen und das Beste aus den Fotos und Video aus zum Beispiel dem Urlaub machen, dann kann ich Photoshop als auch Premiere auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Schon viele Jahre bearbeite ich meine Fotos mit PSElements.Ausreichende Erfolge.

This is probably a good product with a major flaw. It insists on updating the software when you try to use it, but crashed as unable to reach Adobe servers. Followed the guidance given and allowed adobe support guy to access my machine to fix but after over a week he was unsuccessful amazingly. Seems others have had similar problems so returning for refund.

Die Software lässt sich wunderbar auf Windows und auf Mac installieren. Es gibt vielerlei Funktionen. Durch eine benutzerfreundliche Oberfläche findet man sich in den Programmen aber sehr gut zurecht.Auch für Anfänger ist die Software entsprechend gut geeignet. Wir benutzen diese hauptsächlich um Urlaubsbilder zu bearbeiten. Dieses funktioniert einwandfrei. normalverbraucher finde ich diese Software aber völlig ausreichend.

Gutes Programm mit gutem Funktionsumfang. Viele Möglichkeiten zur Nachbearbeitung.
